Granny! Surprise! Granny? Is everything okay? You look kind of different. I'm not feeling too well today. Come closer, dear. Granny, what big ears you have! The better to hear you with, my dear. Granny, what big eyes you have! The better to see you with, my dear. But… but… Granny, what big teeth you have! The better to eat you with! And saying that, the big bad wolf leapt at Red Riding Hood. Let's go back to your Granny's house, very, very quietly. The wolf is scary, so we must plan this carefully. Let's think of a smart idea for trapping him. So, very quietly, hiding behind trees and bushes, they made their way back to Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother's house. The big bad wolf was still around. Granny was free at last! Little Red Riding Hood told her that they were safe from the big bad wolf, who was sitting at the bottom of a deep pit. But Granny wasn't done yet. He dared to try and eat my little granddaughter? I have to teach the big bad wolf a lesson. I'm going to call the village chief and ask him to put the big bad wolf away in a place where he can never cause trouble again! And the best part of the story is that Little Red Riding Hood had learnt a very important lesson, to follow the golden rules that help keep kids safe! We've got to get going now. Bye bye, Granny. This homeowner in Tinton Falls, New Jersey called our office after finding a large number of flying insects in his living room. Once we began investigating we noticed that these pests were hovering around a rug that was stashed in the corner of the hallway. So we investigated and found a large colony of clothing web moths harboring in the rug. The larvae of these pests like to attack the natural fibers inside clothes such as wool or cashmere sweaters. The females carefully place their eggs deep in the mesh of the infested fabric by attaching the eggs with the glue they secrete. At the owner's request, we're going to dispose of the rug and then treat the entire interior of the home with a liquid residual. This application is going to exterminate the clothing web moths almost immediately. We're also going to set up several pheromone traps and then schedule follow-up inspection to monitor the infestation and, if needed, apply any additional treatments.
Beautiful, green and very dense carpet!
Something that all fish keepers dream ofĀ Ā and possibly the best part of beautifulĀ
planted tanks. But it's difficult,Ā Ā very difficult to create and basically reservedĀ
or very advanced fish keepers. Right? Wrong! Give me just few minutes of your time and I willĀ Ā explain everything because it'sĀ
much easier than you might think.Ā Before we start, a little explanation from myĀ
side. This was supposed to be a part of muchĀ Ā bigger build video for the tank that you canĀ
see right now. And that video is still comingĀ Ā later. But because I read a lot of comments andĀ
questions about exactly that topic I decidedĀ Ā to make this video about carpeting only.
SoĀ
this is what we're gonna focus on right now. Okay let's get to work! We obviously gonnaĀ
need some tank. Size in this case doesn'tĀ Ā matter at all. You can grow a carpet prettyĀ
much everywhere. What actually matters isĀ Ā the substrate that we're gonna use. If you wantĀ
to have a dense and very healthy carpet I wouldĀ Ā really recommend to use active substrate. ForĀ
this one I used Advanced Soil Shrimp. We don'tĀ Ā need a lot of it. Just one or two centimeters toĀ
cover bottom of the tank. In general carpetingĀ Ā plants are quite small and they don't haveĀ
huge root system so it's going to be fine.Ā Ā And now we're gonna jump aheadĀ
straight to the planting of our carpet. In this case I use Eleocharis parvula.Ā
It looks like teeny tiny grass and itĀ Ā grows perfect as a carpet. So what youĀ
have to do with it is divide it intoĀ Ā very small parts.
Those small parts can beĀ
really tiny. Don't be afraid of anything.Ā Ā I know that right now those plants don'tĀ
even have roots. That's okay! And I knowĀ Ā that you're afraid that everything is goingĀ
to float once you fill the tank with water They won't! Just divide your plant into teenyĀ
tiny parts and spread it around your substrateĀ Ā exactly like I'm showing you right now. TheĀ
better the spread of your plant the betterĀ Ā your carpet will be. And it's also going toĀ
spread much faster.
If you're gonna createĀ Ā big pieces of this plant and plant them only inĀ
a few places, you're gonna create islands – notĀ Ā carpet! They're gonna connect eventually,Ā
but it's going to take a lot of time. So this is how it's supposed to look likeĀ
more or less. Small pieces of the plantĀ Ā spread evenly around the tank. And by the wayĀ
you don't have to use exactly that plant. JustĀ Ā use whenever carpeting plant you want. TheĀ
approach is pretty much exactly the same.Ā And now what we're gonna do is NOT fillĀ
it with water. Just spray your carpetĀ Ā a little bit with water and cover theĀ
tank with plastic foil. That's it! AndĀ Ā the only equipment that you need right now isĀ
light. And this is what we call – Dry Start! For the next weeks what you have to do isĀ
open the foil from time to time and sprayĀ Ā your carpet with water.
Don't do anythingĀ
else. The only thing that you have to doĀ Ā is keep the moisture in the tank and letĀ
the carpet spread and grow. This is whyĀ Ā I mentioned that you don't have to be worriedĀ
about floating or lack of roots. So what yourĀ Ā plant is doing right now is developing veryĀ
strong healthy roots underneath the substrate.Ā Ā They are hooking themselves to the substrateĀ
and they are not going to float, no chance. But because you have no water there is no chanceĀ
to develop algae! So if you think about this,Ā Ā you can use very strong light during thisĀ
process. Your plants are already plantedĀ Ā in very rich substrate. They haveĀ
absolutely everything they need andĀ Ā they don't have to fight with algae!Ā
So it's a perfect scenario for them.Ā And only one week later you can already seeĀ
the progress.
The carpet is much more denseĀ Ā and most important you can already see someĀ
runners. That means that the roots are alreadyĀ Ā developed and the plants are holding tightly toĀ
the substrate and you're ready to flood the tank. You can see from above how big isĀ
the difference. Before. And after!Ā And when I filled the tank with water IĀ
had zero floating plants. So everythingĀ Ā was already hooked. Entire carpet is heavilyĀ
rooted and it's growing like crazy. So afterĀ Ā filling the tank with water all I have to doĀ
right now is do a regular water changes. At theĀ Ā very beginning especially with active substrateĀ
is very important. But already the plant massĀ Ā for this tank is very big so it's quite easy toĀ
fight off any algae. The carpet is very dense,Ā Ā very green, very healthy and is growing likeĀ
crazy. And because of that I have minimalĀ Ā problems with algae. Of course there will beĀ
some at the very beginning, but this is normalĀ Ā and it's much easier for me to fight it off.Ā

fabric I started with felt but I later switchedĀ Ā to anti-slip that provides a more premium andĀ
professional feel to the rug next will be yarnĀ Ā only pick the colors that you need becauseĀ
believe me you will have tons of yarn onceĀ Ā you begin and let's not forget the frame makeĀ
sure it's completely sturdy and it's ready toĀ Ā be used whether it's custom or pre-made make sureĀ
everything's on there tight and securely the lastĀ Ā thing you want is an unsecure and swaying frameĀ
of course we can't forget glue throughout thisĀ Ā video you'll see me use three different types ofĀ
glue to finish the rug finally I use scissors andĀ Ā shears to detail and shape and if you guys needĀ
a more in-depth description about these tuftingĀ Ā items I have a video for that look at the topĀ
right to start you're going to need to applyĀ Ā the fabric to the frame but there is a coupleĀ
of steps to this so follow with me first toĀ Ā know that you're applying it correctly there willĀ
be lines that go vertically and horizontally nowĀ Ā once you've applied it to the frame there's oneĀ
more step what you want to do is carefully grabĀ Ā each end of the frame and pull as hard as possibleĀ
making sure that the fabric is extremely tight onĀ Ā the frame once you've done that you can do theĀ
tufters test what you want to do is flick theĀ Ā fabric as hard as possible now if the fabricĀ
is soft that means that you've applied it inĀ Ā correctly but if the fabric bounces back veryĀ
quick you know you've done it now once you'reĀ Ā ready to start tufting take out your projectorĀ
and set it up a good length away from your frameĀ Ā also try not to over complicate picking an imageĀ
you can always look on Google or design somethingĀ Ā yourself once you have the photo put it ontoĀ
your computer and start projecting Now flip theĀ Ā photo as well you can do that in any type ofĀ
software even preview if you have a MacbookĀ Ā sometimes you can't get the projector inĀ
the perfect spot remember you can alwaysĀ Ā move the image around on your computer asĀ
well now you're ready to trace you want toĀ Ā outline each color of your design try and getĀ
as close as possible so it's a perfect outline foreign once everything's outlined on your fabric youĀ
want to label each color as well believe me youĀ Ā don't want to be confused when you're insertingĀ
the yarn now for the tufting gun there's thingsĀ Ā that you need to be aware of cleaning the tuftingĀ
gun is really important otherwise anyone that youĀ Ā buy at any price will break sooner than later soĀ
I'm going to show you how to clean it take care ofĀ Ā it and the settings that I use for my gun beforeĀ
I show you how to clean it please turn off yourĀ Ā gun flip the switch down and make sure that anyĀ
bright light on the gun is completely turned offĀ Ā now I use a microfiber cloth and a brush I onlyĀ
use the brush if there's a little bit of yarn leftĀ Ā on the gun so here you'll see me brushing off theĀ
important parts of the gun and if there's a smallĀ Ā space that you can't get to you can always twistĀ
the gear and that will allow you to get more spaceĀ Ā after this I'll lightly oil the gun and then turnĀ
it on for around 30 seconds now if you see a blackĀ Ā residue or a black Gunk on the gun then turn offĀ
the gun take your microfiber cloth and clean offĀ Ā that residue once again you can spin the gearĀ
to get those tight spaces and once it's cleanedĀ Ā I lightly oil it and then turn it on now for theĀ
settings this is an Industrial Tool so please beĀ Ā careful with this there's enough knob located atĀ
the bottom of the Gun there's a little white lineĀ Ā I try to keep that close to the lowest factoryĀ
setting now of course you can turn this up higherĀ Ā which means the gun will be tufting at a higherĀ
rate of speed so this is important to know forĀ Ā the next step this can lead to more problemsĀ
like cutting the fabric and potentially justĀ Ā ruining your rug a slower speed allows you to getĀ
more detail and altogether just a better rug andĀ Ā at the same time if you're watching this videoĀ
I'm guessing you're a beginner which startingĀ Ā at a slower speed will definitely help you soĀ
much now for those that don't know the tuftingĀ Ā gun guides you in an upward position let theĀ
gun guide you the only time I guide the gunĀ Ā is if there's a curve or I have to go diagonalĀ
mostly just for making shapes now for the partĀ Ā everyone's been waiting for if you get Red HeartĀ
yarn like I do you can either take the Strand fromĀ Ā the outside or the inside though I definitelyĀ
recommend taking it from the inside becauseĀ Ā eventually it can become Tangled if you take itĀ
from the outside strand assuming you already haveĀ Ā the yarn looped through the frame like so takeĀ
your gun and thread the yarn through like this thank you leave a little bit of yarn hanging off the endĀ
when tufting designs I normally outline the rugĀ Ā first and then fill it in when threading theĀ
Border I normally do three lines thick but ifĀ Ā your design doesn't require an outline that'sĀ
okay too normally you're going to want to useĀ Ā the gun vertically sometimes it may require you toĀ
go horizontally or diagonal I like to outline eachĀ Ā separate color and then I fill it in verticallyĀ
and make sure that the yarn is fully embeddedĀ Ā in the fabric also watch how close my linesĀ
are this is normally how close you want them [Music] [Music] [Music] applying the same amount of pressure all the wayĀ
through creating the rug is definitely importantĀ Ā now you see this little thing hold on hold onĀ
let me get a little closer you see this I don'tĀ Ā cut these anymore I pull them out the reason youĀ
don't cut them is because one that can lead toĀ Ā cutting your rug and the most important reasonĀ
why is because they don't actually stick intoĀ Ā the rug itself though if you do end up rippingĀ
your fabric there is a fix to that but since IĀ Ā didn't rip my fabric I didn't want to just rip itĀ
to fix it so if you guys really want that videoĀ Ā please spam it in the comments section now thatĀ
you filled in your design you want to glue itĀ Ā for this I'm using Robert's 3000 carpet glue nowĀ
it doesn't really matter what type of flooringĀ Ā you have protect your floor from this glue IĀ
have carpet and it can absolutely destroy itĀ Ā so I bought super cheap gym mat set on the floorĀ
underneath there's an important reason why I useĀ Ā this glue and that will come into the videoĀ
later as well you can either put a glove onĀ Ā or get a little spatula make sure that there'sĀ
barely any clumps and leave everything even makeĀ Ā sure you do this step within a ventilatedĀ
area you don't want to inhale fumes all day now you wait 12 to 48 hours for theĀ
glue to dry once it's finished youĀ Ā can cut the rug out just make sure thatĀ
you leave a little bit of excess fabricĀ Ā so you can fold it over on the second glowing step foreign flat down on a table and I cut littleĀ
pieces all the way around the rug the point of doing this is to fold themĀ
inward into the rod now feel if the glueĀ Ā is still kind of tacky on the back sideĀ
of the rug and if it is now you can foldĀ Ā in each piece that you cut from here I takeĀ
hot glue and spray adhesive glue and applyĀ Ā the backing on the way that I preferĀ
to apply it is by doing it little byĀ Ā little otherwise the hot glue dries way tooĀ
fast and you really don't want that laughs something to remember when you are applyingĀ
the glue make sure that you apply pressureĀ Ā on the entire rug each time you apply glue now IĀ
cut off the excess backing Fabric and as you canĀ Ā tell everything's starting to come together nowĀ
it's time to shave the rug I like to use my bigĀ Ā shears which are called Beach Rose if you guysĀ
do decide to buy this year it does not come withĀ Ā a guide that I have online I made that separatelyĀ
on my own and that little white piece that I haveĀ Ā on that as well I have a whole video explainingĀ
what that is and how I created that and now IĀ Ā have a 3D printer to produce them it allows aĀ
vacuum to be attached to the guide itself soĀ Ā it makes cleanup time way faster and it stopsĀ
the shear from overheating now the reason whyĀ Ā I have a guide on it is so it makes a clean GlideĀ
across the entire rug inconsistencies in the rugĀ Ā will definitely make it not feel professionalĀ
whatsoever and a lot of the time with the messĀ Ā up like that you can't really get your work backĀ
once that's done I use scissors to detail the restĀ Ā of the rug I Glide my scissors through the colorsĀ
to separate them then I go through a second timeĀ Ā and cut the fabric I do this on a very slightĀ
angle so the definition is more prominent orĀ Ā tilt your longer scissors up a little bit forĀ
me that works but for some people it may not now that everything's detailed I vacuumed theĀ
rug and make sure that there's no lint on theĀ Ā back in front you can also go over the rug withĀ
a lint remover now that you're almost done flipĀ Ā the rug upside down and slap your label on itĀ
I make sure people know it's a one of one rugĀ Ā and if they decide to scan the code they getĀ

Let's think of a plan fast. Think, think, think. I've got it! I have an idea! And that's when Chuchu had a brilliant idea! Quick, Chiku, ChaCha behind the mirror. Chika, you remember what you have to do? Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your golden hair! I hope you haven't been up to any tricks, Rapunzel? Look, witch, I'm here to help Rapunzel escape.
Why, you pesky little boy! Tell me, how will you help her if you're turned to stone? And everything went just as ChuChu had planned. By using a mirror to reflect the witch's spell back at her, the witch got a taste of her own medicine! Thank you, my little friends. Now the witch's evil spells will never be able to harm anyone again! But oh… my poor prince! Is he going to remain a stone statue forever? Rapunzel the witch's spell has broken. The witch no longer has any powers! C'mon Rapunzel, let's get you out of here! And so, the Prince and Rapunzel were reunited, never to be parted again. The very next day, they were married, in the presence of Rapunzel's parents. The prince took Rapunzel's parents away to live in his palace and they were never hungry again. Unbelievable! I want to take a bite! Stop! Don't! It's a trap! Get behind those trees. The witch will be back any minute! Hurry, follow me! Hi, I'm Gretel. Hi, Gretel, I'm ChuChu and these are ChaCha, Chiku and Chika. Hi, Gretel! I'm sorry, ChaCha, I had to stop you from taking a bite from the candy house. The old lady, who's actually a witch, might have seen you. And she'd have put you in a cage, like she's put my brother, Hansel and she says she's going to eat him up! Gretel, slow down. A witch is going to eat your brother? What's going on? Let me tell you everything from the very beginning.
And so began the story of Hansel and Gretel. Hansel and Gretel were brother and sister. Their mother had died many months ago. Their father loved them dearly but their father was a poor woodcutter who used to leave the house at dawn and return late in the evening. All throughout the day, he would worry about his dear children and wonder what he could do to look after them better. And that's why the woodcutter decided to marry again. The lady he married was very kind to Hansel and Gretel but little did the woodcutter know that she was kind to them only when he was around. The minute his back was turned, she was cruel and mean to the children.
And she made their lives miserable! Here, eat this. Don't you dare waste it. Do you know how much it costs to feed the two of you? She scolded them all day and starved them. She made them do all the housework. Hansel and Gretel never told their father about how their new mother was so mean to them. They didn't want him to worry or feel sad. But that was a mistake! Because the new mother had evil plans up her sleeve. How I hate these two! I want to get rid of them! Tomorrow, after their father leaves for work, I'll take them deep into the woods and leave them there.
They'll never be able to find their way back and wild animals will eat them up. And I'll tell their father they ran away. Luckily, Gretel overheard their new mother's wicked scheme. Hansel, we're in trouble. Our new mother plans to leave us in the woods tomorrow morning, to be eaten up by wild animals. Don't worry, dear sister. I have a plan to bring us back home safely.
Tomorrow morning, when our new mother gives us our breakfast of dry, stale bread, don't eat it. Secretly slip it into my pocket. Okay, I'll do as you say, Hansel. The next morning, after their father left for work, the new mother told Hansel and Gretel that she was taking them to a beautiful place that she wanted to show them. Hansel and Gretel knew what this was all about but they pretended to be excited. She then handed them each a stale slice of bread. Hurry up and eat this and then we'll leave. But as soon as she looked away, Hansel and Gretel hid the bread in Hansel's pocket and pretended to chew. Still eating? Hurry up! Let's go! And just as she had planned, the new mother took them deep into the woods but clever little Hansel had thought of a great plan! He was leaving a trail of breadcrumbs as he walked.
By following this trail, he and Gretel would be able to find their way back home! But alas! Hansel and Gretel didn't know that a hungry little bird was hopping behind them, eating up the trail! The beautiful place that I told you about, it's here somewhere. I'll go look for it. You wait here. Don't move from here till I'm back. Hansel and Gretel knew that their new mother wouldn't be coming back for them. Well, Hansel, it's a good thing we have your trail of breadcrumbs to follow. It'll lead us back home. Yes, and tonight when father gets home from work, we must tell him the truth about our new mother. Yes, absolutely. Let's go, now. And that's when Hansel and Gretel realized that the bird had eaten up all the crumbs of bread they'd dropped! They realized that there was no trail to follow back home! They were truly lost! They wandered around in the deep woods for hours, hoping to find their way out, but with no luck.
Suddenly, they came to a small clearing and standing in front of them was a pretty little house made of candy and lollipops and gingerbread. They were so hungry that they ran to the house and started breaking pieces of the goodies and eating them. Suddenly, an old lady came out of the house and spoke to them in a kind voice. Who's that eating from my house? We're two children, kind lady. I'm Hansel and this is my sister Gretel. We're very hungry. Is it okay if we help ourselves to some goodies, dear lady? Of course, little ones. But I can't see very well. My eyes are weak. Will you come closer so that I can hug you? That's so sweet! Sure! Hansel and Gretel walked up to the old lady, thinking she would hug them but they were in for a nasty surprise! Because the old lady was actually a wicked witch! You fell for my trap! What just happened? Who are you? Let us go, please, you're hurting us! Let you go? Never! I'm a witch and I love to eat children! Why…
You look like a healthy little boy! I think I'm going to eat you tonight! I was planning to make a soup in that pot. And I think a juicy little boy will go well with my soup! Please! Let my brother go, please! But Gretel's pleas fell on deaf ears! She sobbed as she watched the witch drag poor Hansel to a strong iron cage. She pushed him in and drawing a big key from her waistband, she locked him up.
You girl, fill water from the well in this pot for my soup. I'm going to the woods to look for some herbs. And when I get back, it's going to be soup and your brother for dinner! So, that's what happened. And now the witch will be back any minute from the woods and she'll eat up my poor brother. Please do something. Help me! Of course, we'll help you, Gretel! Let's think of a plan. Thinking. Let's see. Hey! Gretel, did you say the witch can't see very well? Yes, that's right. She has weak eyes. And where did you say she keeps the keys to the cage where Hansel is locked up? They hang by a rope from her waist. Okay, I have an idea! Tell us! Tell us, Chiku! Okay, so the first thing we need to do is take water from the well and make the ground in front of the cage really slippery. And I'm lucky I'm carrying these scissors in my pocket! What I'll do is run ahead to the path and hide in the bushes.
When the witch returns with her herbs, I quietly cut the rope that has the keys. Then, I'll sneak up to the cage and let Hansel out. The witch has weak eyes, so she won't be able to see me do that. I get it, Chiku! What a brilliant plan! Once Hansel is out of the cage, Gretel has to somehow trick the witch to walk on the slippery ground. And then, she'll slip and land right inside the cage! And Chiku will lock her up! And Hansel and Gretel will be safe! That's right! C'mon, let's do it! Hansel, don't worry. We've got a plan to save you! And so, the children got to work. Witch! Oh, Witch, I have bad news. Hansel managed to slip through the bars of the cage. He's escaped. Come see for yourself! What? And their plan worked perfectly! There, that'll keep you from torturing little children! Bye bye, witch! Come on, everyone! Get on the carpet! Time to take Hansel and Gretel back to their father! When Hansel and Gretel got home, they were in for a big surprise.
They're just two sweet little children. All they ever wanted from me is some love and I treated them so badly. I left them to be eaten by wild animals. How could I have been so cruel? I must look for them and if I find them, I will hold them close to my heart and beg forgiveness. Mother! You little dears, you're safe! I'm so sorry, little ones. Can you find it in your hearts to forgive me? Mother, of course! I promise to love you with all my heart. And the day ended happily in Hansel and Gretel's home. When the woodcutter got back from work, his wife confessed all her wrong doings, and she was forgiven. And Hansel and Gretel told their father all about how ChuChu and friends had helped them escape from the witch. Thank you, ChuChu, ChaCha, Chiku and Chika for saving Hansel and Gretel.
And for bringing them home safely. I don't know what we'd have done without you. You're welcome! We'd better be going, now. That was fun! Now, to our next adventure in Fairytale Land! hi everybody Welcome to my channel this isĀ
hopefully going to be a quick video showingĀ Ā you how to fix your Bissell cleaner the waterĀ
tank is full the Bissell solution tank is fullĀ Ā but for some reason there was no water when IĀ
hit the trigger in the back there was no waterĀ Ā or any solution being sucked back up I've goneĀ
ahead and taken off the screw first of all IĀ Ā unplugged it I took off the screw here andĀ
then there's one on each side here there'sĀ Ā actually a secondary screw down here I'veĀ
already taken my finger and kind of clearedĀ Ā the way but I think this is probably where theĀ
water shoots out at and there just was so muchĀ Ā gunk in front of there it wasn't allowing thatĀ
to happen so hopefully that is the problem andĀ Ā there isn't like a problem with a belt or theĀ
actual trigger switch there's just so much gunkĀ Ā look at all of this there's all this buildupĀ
Gunk from carpet I'm assuming the problem isĀ Ā it couldn't come out in in the first placeĀ
so I'm going to get this all cleaned up putĀ Ā it back together and give it a whirl andĀ
hopefully that is what it took to fix it.Ā I plugged everything back in and that does notĀ
seem to be the problem I think there might beĀ Ā a clog I actually stored that cleaner inĀ
the tank and I think just based on whatĀ Ā I saw underneath I have a feeling there is aĀ
clog in here so what I'm going to do is takeĀ Ā a screwdriver and take all this off and seeĀ
if I can find some type of a plug somewhere okay there were a couple screws there thereĀ
there and there which was looked like thatĀ Ā okay the lines just a quick look over here I'mĀ
not seeing any apparent jams everything looksĀ Ā fairly clean so I am going to look in I'm I'mĀ
thinking there's some type of a build up within IĀ Ā I think this is the heater but I can alreadyĀ
see like some corrosion and stuff on that okayĀ Ā I got all the screws out oh holy smokes I'mĀ
gonna clean that out and then I'm gonna checkĀ Ā double check all of these other lines I thinkĀ
that I've learned not to store I think theĀ Ā soap just gets built up we do have hard waterĀ
I live in the country I'm gonna go get a Q-tipĀ Ā so I'm gonna try to clean this and hold my cameraĀ
steady that's just really disgusting look at thatĀ Ā gross I would suggest putting it looks likeĀ
we're going into surgery here oh yuck gross if I had this out in my shop I might even getĀ
my air compressor out and try to blow that outĀ Ā um but I'm gonna clean this…oh grody, itĀ
looks like cottage cheese or something in there.
If you have a problem with water spraying IĀ
honestly think this is probably the first placeĀ Ā I'd check all right so that is all the crud I dugĀ
out of there um one thing to be very cautious ofĀ Ā there's like these little red washers or gasketsĀ
whatever you want to call them um they're locatedĀ Ā here you want to make sure you don't lose any andĀ
that obviously is a soap because it can it smellsĀ Ā like soap and the flow obviously is blocked soĀ
I'm going to try to put it back together maybeĀ Ā checking a couple of these tubes and fire it upĀ
and see if the water and the soap doesn't flow nowĀ Ā okay I have it reassembled I'mĀ
gonna turn it on and see if it works [Cleaner running but not spraying]Ā
It's still not gonna work.
Okay so I want to show you this a couple otherĀ
things while I have this apart this is actuallyĀ Ā the filter that goes on the bottom of the waterĀ
tank and it does pop apart so I took that andĀ Ā I ran that and flushed it under hot water andĀ
I do believe that the one with I believe thisĀ Ā I believe this tank also has one of theseĀ
at the bottom so I'm going to flush thatĀ Ā out and yet another place to check in theĀ
top of the head of this vacuum where theĀ Ā tank is there's another filter so I took thatĀ
off and washed it too it had some crud in itĀ Ā for good measure I'm also going to take these offĀ
and clean them probably you're going to need someĀ Ā type of pliers and squeeze this part and I'm goingĀ
to take these off and wash them as well all rightĀ Ā so I have those back on but I'm kind of lookingĀ
at these tubes this right here looks like a lot ofĀ Ā crystallization right here and build up that looksĀ
like there might be some sediment in there tooĀ Ā um I'm just going to kind ofĀ
clean out every hose and I alsoĀ Ā don't like taking things apart because I oftenĀ
I'm like oh how did I put them back together soĀ Ā what I would suggest is before you take anythingĀ
apart take a photo of it first that way you canĀ Ā look back and see exactly what it is you tookĀ
apart this is a lot of the electrical I reallyĀ Ā don't want to touch that I just do think thoughĀ
that these things need taken apart and that thatĀ Ā could be a huge problem right there that looksĀ
like a build up um I took some of these apartĀ Ā I'm getting very familiar with this systemĀ
you're going to need to use some type ofĀ Ā pliers I have my needle nose pliers it'sĀ
kind of hard to film this and do it butĀ Ā I'm going to squish that and take that apart nextĀ
I cleaned out this line I cleaned out that lineĀ Ā where is it had very fine as youĀ
can see like a build up in there here's some more Gunk that I wasĀ
able to get out but then I noticedĀ Ā within this line it looks like there's a buildĀ
up there and I did notice it was odd that notĀ Ā only wasn't water coming out the front here likeĀ
it's supposed to but also this tool this handĀ Ā tool here with the sprayer nothing was comingĀ
out there too I think that goes up through theĀ Ā vacuum and ultimately I think the other end of itĀ
is right here so I'm going to take this apart tryĀ Ā to rinse it maybe from this side okay I think thatĀ
worked or is working I think that was it I pouredĀ Ā what I did was took that other end and poured itĀ
in the sink and I didn't think that'd be enoughĀ Ā to flush it but I held it up a little bit and letĀ
gravity work and it flushed all of that junk outĀ Ā so I'm going to try to reassemble it and give it aĀ
try okay so the more I look the more clogs I findĀ Ā this is now clear and then I was getting ready toĀ
put this back and that's just for the heck of it IĀ Ā thought I'd look here and as I pull this coil backĀ
look at that there's a massive clog there too soĀ Ā I'm going to take it apart here and empty all thatĀ
out I'm going to put a paper towel underneath itĀ Ā because I don't want the inside of this to beĀ
all wet so here's another area to look at and IĀ Ā do believe these are clear I think I looked atĀ
them earlier but if you want to know for sureĀ Ā these coils kind of obscure blockage but it looks is there anything in there thatĀ
actually looks like it's pretty clear Let me see if my camera will pick that up soĀ
that looks like it's clear from there there and those look okay I'm gonna check this one too all right so all right there's some blockageĀ
in here I've also been using a paper clip toĀ Ā kind of some of these connections I kind ofĀ
reamed that out with that so all right let'sĀ Ā take a look at this and then maybe I'll partiallyĀ
assemble it and try to run a little water through gross so there is a little crud did I get it allĀ Ā I just want to make sure I got it all thatĀ
and it looks like I did it looked really bad It looked like a lot more build up in theĀ
tube than that there is a little bit I'mĀ Ā going to take that pipe cleaner and get theĀ
rest out but there is some buildup that couldĀ Ā have been enough just to block this and I'mĀ
going to make sure that this is clear too could that have been enough toĀ
keep it from working I don't knowĀ Ā combined all these blockages yes all rightĀ
so this did not work before what I'm doingĀ Ā is just kind of letting the heater run andĀ
flushing the water out into the sink [Music] The hand tool is working! The unit is workingĀ Ā too!
YEA it's gonna work now! what I think really helped was to FullĀ
Throttle run the water through the handĀ Ā tool because you can get like a nice sprayĀ
coming out and I think I did about threeĀ Ā loads of this tank and now I see that the waterĀ
is actually coming through the front so I thinkĀ Ā that that just needed time for all of thoseĀ
things to unclog and running it through theĀ Ā hand tool rather than through all of theseĀ
very fine things in the front I think thatĀ Ā was the trick so I actually fixed it and I'mĀ
going to show a closing shot of it working.
